When we show hospitality we receive so much more than we give. When we offer hospitality to the stranger, the poor, and those in need, we entertain angels without even knowing it!
This church community offers a place of welcome to all people - our community is made up of people of all ages and backgrounds, and we welcome members of the LGTBQ community. We want to be a place where people feel they belong, where we share the weight of the day-to-day pressures of life, and give something back to our community.
Wherever you are on life's journey - we welcome you!
Children & Youth
Children and young people are an important part of our community. We are proud of our church school and enjoy welcoming the children and families to church - and sharing with them in school. We offer a variety of activities for children and families - an after-school children's choir, parent & toddler groups, our annual pancake party, discos, as well as Junior Church on a Sunday morning. If you'd like to get involved in any of these activities - or have suggestions for something new - please contact the office.
Over 50s activities &
Community Coffee Morning
Every Wednesday morning we host activities for the over 50s in partnership with Open Age and Second Half Foundation. We offer free computer classes, a singing group and Zumba class.
On the first Wednesday of the month we host a Community Coffee Morning. Accessible transport is available through NeighbourCare and we serve homemade cakes, coffee & tea and hold a Fairtrade stall. If you would like to find out more or if you have time to volunteer please get in touch with the office.
Singing Groups &
Fun opportunities for singing are open to all ages! We hold an after-school children's choir on Tuesdays during term-time. A community choir meets on Tuesday evenings from 6-7pm in the church. These classes will help with breathing and improve your confidence in singing. Singing is so good for body & soul! New members are always welcome to join the singing group on Sunday mornings.
