I'M NEW HERE
Whether you're new to London, looking for a spiritual home or wanting to make friends in the local area, we offer a warm welcome at St Paul's. We know it can be difficult going somewhere for the first time, so we try to offer lots of different ways to be part of this community. If you're looking for a new church community you might like to come along to our Sunday morning service at 10am. Alternatively, you could attend one of the weekday prayer services at 9.15am or 5pm. We also share Holy Communion on Wednesdays at 6pm or Fridays at 8am.
If you'd like to get involved in community activities or meet other people from the neighbourhood you might enjoy our community meal on a Wednesday evening at 6.30pm. If you're looking to make a difference in this community we have lots of volunteering opportunities, so please ask for more information. Please introduce yourself to one of the ministry team when you come to St Paul's and let us know what kind of things you'd be interested in doing. We look forward to welcoming you!
If you'd like to make contact before you visit please feel free to email the office or Revd Clare Dowding.

SUNDAYS
Holy Communion
10.00am
St Paul's Church
Everyone is welcome here!
We are delighted that you are thinking about attending worship on Sunday mornings at St Paul's. The Sunday service begins at 10am and lasts about an hour. The service includes readings from the Bible, a sermon or reflection, prayers, hymns and music, and - as the centre of our worship in which we encounter the gracious love of God given in Jesus - the celebration of Holy Communion.
Lots of different people are involved in bringing our worship to God - in reading the scriptures; reading poetry or sharing stories; offering prayers; serving at the altar; spending time with our children and young people in Junior Church; welcoming people as they come to church; offering hospitality after the service; singing or sharing in music; decorating the church with flowers - we hope that as you find a home at St Paul's you will find something that you would like to share (if you wish to do so) as we gather in worship and fellowship together.
After the service you are invited to stay for refreshments - tea, coffee & cake - and there's always a chance to meet others at the service or to talk with someone in the ministry team. There is also quiet space available in the side chapel if you would rather have some time to reflect or pray, or if you would like to speak to one of the ministers in confidence.
Once a month we host 'Sunday Sessions', sometimes in church or out in the city or countryside, and often with a focus on our life as an EcoChurch. Recent Sunday Sessions have included a guided Eco-Art Walk around North Greenwich Peninsula; a FairTrade Soup Lunch; a walk and picnic in the bluebell woods in Great Missenden (via train from Marylebone Station); Climate Club led by the children at church; family activities in the vicarage garden; planting bulbs and tending to our church garden.
We look forward to getting to know you!

To support your spiritual life at home you may wish to use these daily prayers (Morning, Evening & Night Prayer) on the Church of England Daily Prayer page.
May we seek the light of Christ and recognise Christ's presence among us as the gift of love given for our health and salvation.
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength ... Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.'
