Revd Donna McDowell
at St Paul's Church
Sunday 4th July 2021, 10am
On Sunday 4th July at 10am we look forward to welcoming Revd Donna McDowell as she begins her curacy at St Paul's.
Donna will be ordained Deacon at St Paul's Cathedral on Saturday 3rd July 2021 and will serve as full-time Assistant Curate at St Paul's Church, Marylebone.
Donna comes to us from St Paul’s Cathedral where she has been working for the past 7 years as Head of Schools & Family Learning. Prior to that she spent 7 years teaching Religious Studies and Philosophy in Croydon. She grew up on a rural council estate in Northern Ireland, and lived in Japan and Canada for 10 years before coming to London 15 years ago and making it her home. She is excited to explore a different part of the city and to get to know the parish.
Donna says: “I love how integrated St Paul’s Marylebone is in the local community, how it seeks to serve through its involvement in multiple community outreach programmes and interfaith partnerships, and how it nurtures faith through prayer and discipleship as well as service. I am really looking forward to meeting you all, and to working with you as your curate, and walking alongside you as a fellow follower of Christ."
Please pray for Donna as she begins her ministry at St Paul's, and for all in the church, school and community as we welcome Donna among us.
