Connection and Collaboration
Like many charities and businesses, churches are facing huge financial challenges as a result of lockdown and closure. St Paul's Church is a vital community hub serving our estates and parish. We are gradually opening up for community groups, classes, support networks and events, in line with government guidelines. However, during lockdown our regular bookings had to be cancelled and our budgeted income stopped almost overnight. Although the church building was closed for over three months, we continued our vital ministry through online worship, phone support, outreach ministry through 'From Hearts to Homes' and Foodcycle Marylebone, pastoral care and funeral ministry.
If you are able to offer financial support to St Paul's Church during this season we would be most grateful. Donations can be received online through bank transfer via BACS 'St Paul's Church PCC', Sort Code: 40-52-40 Account Number: 00017412 or through the Parish Giving Scheme (a regular monthly donation to the church through direct debit). The video below from The Church of England explains more about the Parish Giving Scheme.
Please contact Reverend Clare if you have any questions about giving to the church during this time.
Thank you for your generosity and prayer at this time.
Following the recent announcement of lockdown from Thursday 5 November - Wednesday 2 December, we will remain open for private prayer, funerals and support groups (like AA). Whilst we cannot gather for public worship we will resume our online worship (via Zoom) on Sunday mornings at 11am and open the church building for private prayer between 12.30-2.30pm on Sundays.
The church will also be open for private prayer on Mondays, 4-5pm and Wednesdays 11am-1pm.
We will continue our prayer and practical support as part of our ongoing commitment to support one another in our life as a community.
We continue to pray for all in our parish and especially for those who are suffering at this time.

Please pray for us as we pray for you
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength ... Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.'
