As a church for every Londoner we are called
to pray with compassion & faith
to love with courage & hope
to serve with creativity & joy
SUNDAYS AT 11AM
CONNECTION & COLLABORATION
Like many charities and businesses, churches are facing huge financial challenges during this time of lockdown and closure. St Paul's Church is a vital community hub serving our estates and parish. We are usually open seven days a week, daytime & evening, for community groups, classes, support networks and events. During this time of closure our regular bookings have stopped and our income is severely affected. Although the church building is closed, we are continuing our vital ministry through online worship, phone support, outreach ministry through 'From Hearts to Homes' and Foodcycle Marylebone, pastoral care and funeral ministry.
If you are able to offer financial support to St Paul's Church during this season we would be most grateful. Donations can be received online through bank transfer via BACS 'St Paul's Church PCC', Sort Code: 40-52-40 Account Number: 00017412 or through the Parish Giving Scheme (a regular monthly donation to the church through direct debit). The video below from The Church of England explains more about the Parish Giving Scheme.
Please contact Reverend Clare if you have any questions about giving to the church during this time.
Thank you for your generosity and prayer at this time.
In this time of lockdown during the Covid-19 pandemic our church buildings are closed in order to prevent spread of the disease and protect the most vulnerable. Please stay at home during this time except for essential trips. As much as we love our building, the church is the 'body of Christ', each and every one of us called to love and serve God in this time and place. Our worship, our life of prayer, our care for one another continue through worship online, and through prayer & practical support by phone. We pray for all in our parish and especially for those who are suffering at this time.
If you would like to join our worship online we gather every Sunday at 11am for DWELL - a time of prayer, conversation, reflection on scripture & song. Everyone is welcome. You can find daily updates on Facebook or Twitter. If you would like to join the 'Thought for the Day' WhatsApp group please contact a member of the clergy team. The vicar or churchwardens can be contacted via phone: 02077248517 or email: email@example.com
Please pray for us as we pray for you
'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength ... Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.'
