As a church for every Londoner we are called
to pray with compassion & faith
to love with courage & hope
to serve with creativity & joy
Responding to the current COVID-19 pandemic
As we respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in our nation
we continue to pray for our parish, city and nation.
The Church continues to be alive and active, but in London our buildings must close.
London is seeing a huge increase in the number of people falling sick with COVID-19. We must physically distance ourselves from one another to prevent the spread of infection in order to save lives. Therefore, as well as public worship being suspended, this and all church buildings in the Diocese of London are now closed. Our worship of God and our care for each other continue but cannot be done in this building.
In order to protect the most vulnerable please stay at home except for essential trips.
We must remember that as much as we love our building, the church is the 'body of Christ', each and every one of us, the people of God, called to serve God in this time and place. Our worship, our life of prayer, our care for one another continue through support online or by phone. The clergy of the parish we will pray - most fervently - for you, for all in our parish, and especially for those who are suffering.
If you would like to join in some of the prayers online you can join our online gatherings for Holy Week & Easter, join with prayers and reflections on our NEW podcast on Anchor FM , Facebook or Twitter. If you would like to join the NEW 'Thought for the Day' WhatsApp group please contact a member of the clergy team.

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength ... Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.'
