Community

St. Paul's is a lively and loving community in the heart of Church Street and Lisson Green, Marylebone.​

 

We want to love God and love our neighbour. We want to be a faithful, loving and joyful presence on these estates. We want to be a community where people feel like they belong and we want to show God's love in action.

Of course, we don't always get it right - so we try to be loving and forgiving and ask God to heal us and help us grow in love.​

 

We meet everyday for prayer and we have a quiet chapel for meditation and prayer. We gather to celebrate Holy Communion on Sundays and during the week, and we believe that God's table is a place of healing and grace.

​

We want our community to grow - both in number, because there's always room for more, and in depth, because this life-thing is hard, but can also be very beautiful! So we build in lots of time for doing things together - eating, laughing, praying, learning, dancing, playing, serving. We love the diversity of this neighbourhood (secretly we think we've found a little slice of heaven) and we love meeting the people God sends our way!​

 

Whether you're new to London, looking for a spiritual home or wanting to make friends in the local area, we offer a warm welcome at St Paul's. We want to be a community where people feel welcomed and included - our community is made up of people of all ages and backgrounds, and we welcome members of the LGTBQ community. We want to be a place where people feel they belong, where we share the weight of the day-to-day pressures of life, and give something back to our community.
